Dadi Nani ka Din | Jaipur | 13 Jan 2008 Print E-mail

The Dadi Nani Foundation Charitable Trust celebrated the first ever Dadi Nani ka din on 13th January 2008 at Jaipur. The day was used as a platform to bring the entire family, with a focus on grandmothers, at a common place for combined fun masti and dhamaal with different kinds of music dance and food. Fun and frolic was the flavour of the day.

The Foundation engaged the well kept lawns at the Grassfield Club in Shyam Nagar to enjoy the afternoon, with the entire family joining in the fun. The families also got to celebrate the traditional Punjabi Lodhi festival around bonfire with live music while dancing to the beat of Nagadas and Dhol. Kite flying and ‘rassa khichai’ gave the gathering an opportunity to indulge in traditional sports.

Drawing and painting competitions along with musical chairs kept the families busy in all round activities With over 120 persons participating, it was a pulsating event fostering family activities with live music dance and masti. At the end of the day the tired souls ate a wholesome meal before dispersing to their respective homes.
